YOU KNOW YOU ARE IN SAFE HANDS WHEN YOU SEE THE NAKMAS QUALITY ASSURED MARK - A NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED QUALITY ASSURED MARK WITHIN THE MARTIAL ARTS:
The NAKMAS Quality Assured Mark confirms that the club, group, association or governing body is accredited by the NAKMAS National Governing Body/NAKMAS Official Martial Arts and is linked, internally to NAKMAS' Quality Management System which has been certified by the British Standards Institution (BSI), both within the UK (UKAS) and also within the United States of Amercia (ANAB/ANSI).
Being accredited by NAKMAS means that the affiliate is continually being audited within NAKMAS membership by a NAKMAS Lead Auditor; a person who has been trained, qualified and certificated by the British Standards Institution as a BSI Lead Auditor. The internal audit comprises of, but not exhaustive of:

Ensuring Disclosures are checked and up to date.

Adherence to Policies and Procedures
These include: Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Ethics, Equality and Diversity.

GDPR procedures followed for correct use of data.

Licensing
Licensing and insurance mandatory as membership requirement.

Welfare Officer
Club/organisation welfare officer appointed. Safeguarding high importance.

Black Belts
Checking black belt qualifications and ensuring they are registered on the NAKMAS National Register of Qualified Black Belts

Training
Records kept of additonal training including the Equality Awareness module.

Covid-19
Providing Covid-19 compliance documentation and certification. This includes the Return to Training Plan (Return to Play).

Head Office
Regular contact with the NAKMAS Head Office.
